Hi, I'm Joice! I am a Kinesiology student interested in neuroscience, exercise science and practically anything that has to do with rehabilitation - especially in clinical populations. I attribute my enthusiasm to the differently able bodied children I volunteer with. My past research investigated the use of robotic rehabilitation and trans-cranial direct current stimulation (tDCS) in children with hemiparetic Cerebral Palsy and the use of trans-cranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) on cortical inhibition and its effects on exercise performance. My research involvement also extends to the Emergency Pediatric Research Team (PERT) at the Children's Hospital and the Sport Injury Prevention Research Center.
