I'm Yelena, and I come from a background of psychology, neuroscience, and technology. I have a B.S. in cognitive neuroscience from DePaul University and an M.S. in neuropsychology from the University of Sydney. My academic background was focused on mental health, with my master's thesis revolving around a novel anxiolytic medication based in medicinal cannabis. I'm currently a project coordinator for a health-tech company where I help bring together the fields of technology, nutrition, and mental health. I'm also extremely interested in neurotechnology and spend a lot of my free time learning about, and working on, brain computer interfaces. I love seeing different fields come together and innovation happen in that collaboration! When I'm not working or studying, I enjoy dancing, hiking, and spending time at the beach when I can.
