Gurmol Sohi is a recent graduate from the University of Calgary where he completed his B.Sc in Biological Sciences. He aspires to use his science background as well as research and analytical skills to help companies achieve their goals as well as serve in non-profits. He was a member of 2 youth non profits boards - Sikh Youth Calgary and the Mazboot (strong) Youth initiative. He has worked in various non-profits in the sectors of humanitarian issues, health and development, immigrant and refugees, transportation etc. In the long term, Gurmol would like to move into the financial industry and become an advisor assisting those in the local and broader community. He has been involved in a variety of work experiences which include technical writing, project development, event coordination, administration, peer helping, product resource development and research. His hobbies include playing sports, going on runs, reading books, hiking and hanging out with friends. He is glad to be an innovator with the NeuroNexus competition this year!
